Vogel’s TwistDock

TwistDock on Table

Glenn and I sat down today with Albert Zeeman, VP of Innovations and Alliances for Vogel’s.  They’re making a new docking station for the PS3 which will help organize your PS3 within your entertainment center.  It’s a really neat idea that seems to be well executed and we were both impressed with it.  Not only does it hide your wires and charge your controllers, but it also adds several usb connections all hidden away neatly within the design of the stand.

They designed it after doing a ton of market research and it shows.  It isn’t gaudy, ringed with LED’s or plastered with a big logo on the front.  It’s a really elegant design that complements both the original and redesigned PS3.  The TwistDock will initially only be available in Europe, but they’re working towards a North American release by the end of the year.
