Fallout New Vegas DLC Announced But Not For PSN

Tomorrow sees the release of one of the most anticipated titles of the year in Fallout: New Vegas. The game’s publisher, Bethesda Softworks, announced today that the first downloadable content for the game, scheduled for “this holiday season,” will be exclusive to Xbox Live. Hopefully this is “exclusive” in the same way that the DLC for Fallout 3 or Grand Theft Auto IV were “exclusives,” i.e., we will see them on PSN in six months to a year. It’s unfortunate to see that the days of DLC exclusivity are still with us and even a nuclear apocalypse can’t erase them from the gaming landscape.

This announcement has made me to decide and buy the game used. Thanks Bethesda for saving me money. :-]

    • Yeah. I probably won’t buy it at all now. I only have so much money to spend on games, so why waste it on a game that isn’t going to give me the same advantages as a Xbox owner.
