Arcade Tour Added to MGC

March 26th and 27th, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the Midwest Gaming Classic. However, if you get there a bit early, as a lot of VGEVO community members do, then boy do you have something to look forward to on Friday. Just announced is The Arcade: Factory to Floor tour. This event departs from the Brookfield Sheraton, host of the 10th Midwest Gaming Classic, and visits ParTec, Inc (maker of Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix arcade games), Stern Pinball, and GameWorks.

This tour will allow participants to see how arcade games are constructed, following the journey from thousands of individual parts to a single arcade machine. In addition, at GameWorks tour goers will have the opportunity to play some games with an included two-hour play card and have a snack with a trip to the GameWorks Burger Bar. Even transportation will keep you entertained as the coach buses shuttling attendees will be alive with arcade trivia, arcade videos, and other arcade-related activites.

Spots in the tour are extremely limited and the organizers, Dan Loosen and Gary Heil, expect it to sell out. If you want to reserve a spot on the tour make sure to head to the MGC ticket page. Various ticket packages are available with a $150 weekend package including MGC show tickets, The Arcade tour tickets, Clock Chaos tournament entry, 10th Anniversary Shirt, MGC Lanyard, and MGC Circle Sticker, or if you are interested solely in The Arcade tour tickets are $95.

For those on the fence about heading to MGC this is a great reason to attend and to get there early.
