Legends of War: Patton’s Campaign Is Set to Storm The Beaches of North America

Step into the shoes of one of the most successful, and controversial, generals of all time in a new turn-based strategy game for the PSP following the exploits of the legendary George S. Patton. After successfully sweeping across Europe, Legends of War: Patton’s Campaign, developed and published by Enigma SP, is making its way to North America. You, as Patton, are tasked with taking the U.S. Third Army from the beaches of Normandy to the fall of Berlin.

You will face 35 missions spread across 7 different operations, unlocking new units as you progress and experiencing an RPG-like evolution system. Six different mission types stand between you and victory: attack, infiltration, defense, escort, sabotage, and ambush. Your army will have access to 53 different unit types and battle on 22 different maps. All the settings and units are historically accurate and provide in-depth recreations of the conflicts that insured an Allied victory.

The PSP has played host to various great turn-based RPGs, now you get to show off your skills in the Big One as Old Blood and Guts himself. If you really want to play armchair general then look for the demo available on the PSN by the end of December.
