PSN Returns To Full Service This Week

While some folks have already been enjoying the first phase of PSN’s return in the form of online gaming, those of you who have been missing out on DLC to games like L.A. Noire, or the ability to purchase titles that are now almost a month overdue, can take solace in the fact that the light at the end of the dark tunnel is drawing closer, and by the end of the week you should have access to the PlayStation Store and all that it entails.

Sony announces today (via the PlayStation Blog) that with the return of the PlayStation Store, the full extend of the PlayStation Network Service will now be fully functional. This includes the following:

• Full functionality on PlayStation®Store
• In-game commerce
• Ability to redeem vouchers and codes
• Full functionality on Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3, PSP, VAIO and
other PCs
Full functionality on Media Go

Also mentioned was the “Welcome Back” package which will be detailed further in the coming days.
This could not have happened a moment sooner, as E3 is right around the corner, and in past E3s Sony has used the PlayStation Network’s services (Home and the PlayStation Store) to give out goodies or compliment their presentation. Also, I’m sure it simply looks better for your services to be in working order when you stand up and reveal to the world what you have coming in the following year.
