LOTR: War in the North Collector’s Edition Details and Pre-Order Bonuses

Warner Bros. Interactive and Snowblind Studios have announced the details for the Collector’s Edition of Lord of the Rings: War in the North, headed to PS3 this fall. For $129.99 you will get:

– A Ranger of the North Quiver Case
– War in the North art book, which includes character, enemy, and environment concept art
– Inside Look: The Music of War in the North, featuring interviews and footage of composer Inon Zur (of Fallout 3 and Dragon Age fame), the E3 2011 Concert event, and three tracks from the game soundtrack
– War in the North Theme Pack for PS3
– The Lord of the Rings: War in the North video game

For those that choose to stick with the War in the North standard edition a myriad of pre-order bonuses will be available at a variety of retailers – though it is not clear whether these pre-order bonuses apply to the Collector’s Edition as well.

Amazon.com: Early access to part two of the War in the North Digital Comic written by Brian Wood, illustrated by Simon Coleby, and produced by DC entertainment, this comic provides back story to the game. Also, players will receive an in-game Orc Champion sword.

Best Buy: The Elf Theme Pack, which boasts Elven sword, armor, and helmet in addition to the Lothlorien Challenge map.

GameStop: The Human Theme Pack, which includes human sword, armor, and battle attire for the Human Ranger, plus the Osgiliath Challenge Map.

Target: Receive three exclusive tracks from the War in the North Soundtrack.

Toys ‘R ‘Us: A War in the North poster signed by Jim Lee and access to download parts one and two of the War in the North Digital Comic at launch.

Wal-Mart: The Dwarf Theme Pack, equipping you with exclusive dwarf sword, armor, and helmet.

Whether choosing human, elf, or dwarf DLC, the digital comic, soundtrack tunes, or even splurging on the Collector’s Edition LOTR: War in the North has bonuses that will have you ready to hunt some orc when it releases this fall.
