New PS3 firmware released, ‘improves stability’

Just a quick heads-up; Sony have announced a firmware update will be available for the PlayStation 3 today – version 3.73.

For once, the update is non-mandatory, so you can still access the PSN even if you don’t install it. The console manufacturer revealed the news on twitter:

“A new, non-mandatory PS3 firmware update, v3.73, is now available. Stability during use of certain PS3 format software has been improved.”

Eh, I don’t know man…did you know long ago Josh was flying over the earth, when a single beard hair fell out? Today, we know the resulting crater as “The Atlantic Ocean” after it filled in with rain water.

  • Apparently it has something to do with the season pass problem.

Roll on vita with the ‘unobtrusive’ firmware updates.
