Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Storyline And Gameplay Info
Fall 2010 saw the return of Sly Cooper and Co. with the Sly Cooper Collection, bundling their three PlayStation 2 adventures together in a single package and giving the graphics of each game an overhaul. Only those dedicated fans that completed all three games in the Collection were treated to a hidden trailer for Sly 4. Now known under the working title of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time this fourth installment in the Sly Cooper franchise sees the return of series regulars Sly, Bentley, Murray, and Carmelita Fox. After completing their latest heist Sly is struck with alleged amnesia and departs to parts unknown with his love interest/antagonist Inspector Carmelita Fox. This leaves the beloved brainiac Bentley with the Thievius Raccoonus, the tome detailing the Cooper clan history. When Bentley notices that pages of the Raccoonus are beginning to disappear Back to the Future-style he must round up the gang to save the legacy of the Coopers.
Developer Sanzaru Games, the same folks behind the Sly Cooper Collection, are promising that Sly’s time traveling adventure will be his largest escapade yet, and include action missions, interactive puzzles and epic boss battles. The physics engine of Thieves in Time will allow for real-world physics and realistic gameplay. Along with Sly, Bentley and Murray other playable characters will join the cast. Also, you will be collecting costumes throughout your adventure that will augment your offensive and defensive maneuvers. And most importantly for those fans that played the Sly Cooper Collection in 3D, Thieves in Time will also support stereoscopic 3D. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is expected later this year, but no release date has been announced.
