Yet another title pushed back until next year

The new South Park RPG has been delayed until 2013 by its publisher THQ.

Shortly after announcing promising Saint’s Row sales figures, THQ then went on to detail their full release schedule for the next fiscal year. This fall is already quite crowded for the recovering company, which is probably the reason behind the decision. Darksiders II, WWE 13, and some significant Saint’s Row DLC are all on the horizon.

South Park will now launch sometime between January 1st and March 31st of next year. It is the third game in the past week to be put on hold slightly; following Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite. Don’t expect it to be the last either – there’ll be no shortage of publishers wanting to avoid the big name competition in Q4 2012.
