‘PSN Play’ returns for 2012

PSN Play‘, Sony‘s response to the XBL ‘Summer of Arcade’, will be returning this year.

The program was a moderate success last year, with games such as Payday: The Heist receiving some much needed limelight. This time around the promotion will work a little differently, with no “free” game as such.

Instead, PSN credit will be issued back to your account depending on how many games you buy. If you purchase 2 of the games, $3 will be added to your virtual wallet. 3 games will grant you a $6 refund, whilst downloading all 4 titles gives you a nice $10 back.

As of yet, the prices of the games haven’t been announced, but there will be a 20% discount for PS+ members. Take a look at the list of games below, and let us know what you think in the comments section:

  • The Expendables 2
  • Counter Strike: Global Offensive
  • Papo & Yo
  • Sound Shapes (also compatible with Vita)
