Machinarium coming to the PlayStation Network in September

Machinarium is setting up for a September release. For those of you who don’t know what Machinarium is, it’s a point and click adventure. Machinarium first debuted on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. It has since failed to make its way to a few other platforms. Well lucky us because we will be seeing it very soon! The object Machinarium is to solve puzzles throughout each level, but the catch is only objects within your reach can be activated. So no activating switches from across the room while you are on the other side of a pit or raised bridge. Machinarium doesn’t contain any dialogue whatsoever. Everything is explained to you through thought bubbles and small cut scenes. The story starts off when your character Josef the robot is dumped into a scrap heap, after escaping the scrap heap you find out that a gang of diabolical robots called the Black Cap Brotherhood is planning on destroying the city’s tower. Well of course it is up to Josef with help from the town’s people to stop the Black cap brotherhood.

  • I can’t wait for this game on PSN. I almost bought it on Steam but I’m glad I held off. Hopefully we get Botinicula as well.
