Grand Theft Auto V Moved to September
Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will release on September 17th instead of the previously promised Spring release. The delay is for the usual extra polish.
The GTA Team released the following statement:
To all Grand Theft Auto fans, please accept our apologies for the delay, and our promise that the entire team here is working very hard to make the game all it can be. We are doing all we can to help ensure it will meet if not exceed your expectations come September – we thank you for your support and patience.
Finally, there you have it, an actual date for what will probably be the biggest game of the year. I know some of you will be bummed out by the delay, but I’m sure a lot of developers out there with games releasing this Spring sighed with relief when this news dropped. They no longer have to fear being overshadowed by Grand Theft Auto.
