Sony breaks up with Superbot, and the kids have been left out in the cold

Following the “amicable” split between Superbot and Sony yesterday, we’ve now gotten reports from multiple sources that at least some planned DLC has been officially cancelled by Sony.

When news of the split hit yesterday, the official statement by Sony included the announcement that Santa Monica Studios would take over any future work and DLC creation for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

It still sounds like we’ll receive at least some new content for the game in the future, but the scope has definitely narrowed since the split was made official.
