‘Rayman Legends’ confirmed for Vita

Rayman Legends (B)

Ubisoft have officially confirmed Rayman Legends for the PlayStation Vita.

The follow-up to the widely loved Origins, Legends was originally set to be a Wii U exclusive. Following its unveiling at last year’s E3, there was internet backlash from Nintendo fans once the game was delayed by Ubi in order to go multi-platform; with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions announced back in February. One member of development team confirmed the Wii U version was finished, and the delay was purely to allow for a simultaneous release.

Now though, the game will be on one more platform, with extras being packed into the Vita release. These consist of Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia costumes, alongside five exclusive maps.

Furthermore, the French publisher have solidified the launch date. Legends has not strayed from its target of September, with a concrete release of August 30th in the UK and September 3rd in the US.
