Vita version of ‘Flower’ to be shown off at E3

Flower

A handheld version of elegant PSN title Flower has been confirmed by its original developer.

Thatgamecompany – the studio which also brought us Flow and Journey – will not be porting Flower themselves though. They told Polygon:

“There’s not much we can do other than to say that it exists, that we’re not handling the port for it, and that we don’t know a prospective release date.”

What we do know, is that the game will be present at E3 in June. Flower Vita appears on a list of titles that will be on show at IndieCade’s booth during the annual gaming extravaganza.

I know more games are a good thing for the Vita, but do these ports of really old games really make people want the system?

  • Personally, I love it. I want to have these games on the go.

I guess that Sony will be pushing PS4 and Vita connectivity in a big way. With PS4 not being backwards compatible, this is sort of a way for PS3 games to get played by the next generation of PS4/PSV players that never owned a PS3…..

I would love to have it on Vita and see how it work on it. TO be honest I rather see new ideas on vita than old games ported to it. Also would love to have better version of fat princess on Vita i love that game on PS3 but handheld version is not that good.
