‘The Last Guardian’ pre-order graphics spotted

PS3 Games

It was on, it was off, and now it’s back on again. The Last Guardian is alive – and it’s arriving on PS3 this year. Maybe.

Following the news yesterday, that saw Team Ico‘s ever-delayed new game appear on an E3 exhibitor list for Sony; pre-order graphics have now appeared in Portugal.

Neogaf user Metalmurphy spotted them in retailer FNAC – which was also correct in the past when it jumped the gun on titles such as GTA V and Rayman Legends Vita. Giving more credence to yesterday’s leak, the pre-order is for PS3 rather than PS4.

Of course this is still speculation, albeit from a reliable source, so we can’t be completely certain that The Last Guardian is finally ready. At E3 next week though, it will be extremely interesting to see if there is indeed a presence for the game, and if it retains its current-gen status.

Man, Raise your hand if you had completely forgotten about this one. I would have thought moving this to a budget PS4 title might have made sense.

    • After the money spent on 7 years of development, I don’t think this could ever be ‘budget’!! 🙂

Hahahaha, true. I guess I meant move it to ps4 but not necessarily upgrade to ps4 graphics? Like a ps4 network game.
