Konami had their 3rd annual Pre-E3 Show today and dropped some new information on Konami mobile studios, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2. You can watch the whole show right here.

PES 2014- Starts at the 5:30 mark

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain- Starts at the 10:30 mark

  • Phantom Pain is set in 1984 with a 49 year old Snake and because of this Hideo Kojima wanted a more “subdued performance” which meant changing Snake’s voice actor from David Hayter to Kiefer Sutherland.
  • Kiefer Sutherland, Jack Bauer of the show 24, did motion capture sequences for the game.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2- Starts at the 15:30 mark

  • Upgraded Mercury Engine
  • Ability to freely explore the game world without load times
  • New free-moving camera that gives the players a 360 view of the game.
  • Releasing this Winter for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.

I think that the Metal Gear Solid V might end up like L.A. Noire, since Konami wants to give the players a “new” gaming experience in the way of facial expressions.
