Warrior’s Lair Cancelled

Ruin

Warrior’s Lair, formerly known as Ruin, was announced back at E3 2011 for the Vita and PS3 has been officially cancelled.

Back at E3 2011 Warrior’s Lair was on Sony’s E3 stage showcasing its Cross-Play functionality. The game was being developed by Idol Minds up until early 2012 until Sony had taken the developer off the project and put Sony San Diego in charge of finishing the game. Since the developer switch occurred information on the game has been mute to this point.

IGN broke the story and reached out to Sony for comment and confirmed that Warrior’s Lair is no longer in development and were told that those who pre-ordered the title should “contact their retailer directly to cancel their pre-sale.”

If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.

That sucks I was looking forward to this game

  • Man that does suck. Was looking forward to it. I guess with Diablo 3 coming to consoles Sony felt there was no need for it or could just possibly be production problems.
