Importing Tracks into KickBeat

KickBeat (B)

KickBeat launches early next month with 18 licensed tracks for the single player campaign, but don’t let that be your max because you can import your own tracks into the game using KickBeat’s easy track importing system.

The four steps to getting your music into Kickbeat are:

  • Select a track from your PS Vita or PS3 Library
  • Find the rhythm by tapping Triangle along with the track’s beat.
  • Once you find the beat, continue tapping Triangle to set the beat
  • The Track Generator will check the rhythm to ensure the beat is correct.

KickBeat arrives on the PS Vita and PS3 on September 3rd for $9.99 and is Cross Buy enabled. During launch week(9/3- 9/9) KickBeat will cost $7.99 for PlayStation Plus members.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.

This looks interesting. Kind of reminds me of Elite Beat Agents but with a way to incorporate your own music into the game
