Atomicom is excited to announce that their PlayStation Mobile game Switch Galaxy Ultra is coming to PS Vita and PS4 and will feature cross-buy in addition to multiplayer cross-play from the various platforms.

Reminds this old gamer of Tempest but with multiplayer. And you can play it sitting down.

The game will run at 60 frames per second and have improved visuals beyond the PSM version as well as boasting fifty-five levels, six upgradeable ships, leader boards, trophies and a comic story by Wipeout concept artist Darren Douglas, which I take to mean comic-book and not a laugh-riot about lane switching. But I could be wrong! Maybe there’s a button to push to flip off your opponents. That would be so boss!

Have a look and enjoy all the other fantastic news from Gamescom aus Köln!

This reminds me of that game on PC (can’t remember the name) where you pick a song from your music library and play to it.
