Confirmed: Talk to your PS4 with the camera

Do you sit on your couch and daydream of the possibilities of what could be accomplished if you could do things just by talking about them? Maybe you will have to hold off on learning to drive a manual car, but you will be able to control your new PS4.

At the Tokyo Game Show, which is going on right now, Sony has confirmed the long rumored feature of the PlayStation camera that will be available at launch for the system. The camera will feature voice recognition that will allow you to bark out orders to your PlayStation 4 and it will “happily” comply with them. Additionally, with the two cameras that are built into the device, it will also track your movements; so go on – wave at your console, give it a thumbs up, or other any hand-gestures that you want.

I wrote a very humorous, if I do say so myself- and I DO, article from when this peripheral was announced. No one ever listens to me! HEART SHAPED BED! HEART SHAPED BED! LOL

This should have been included with the PS4 like originally announced. Now it will see a lot less use as not everyone has one. I would have paid an extra $50 to have it in the box…..
