Namco Bandai has announced that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will release in North America and Europe in 2014. The fighting game, based on the popular manga, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, was released last month in Japan to very good reviews, including a perfect score from prestigious Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, an honor only bestowed to 21 games since 1998.

The extremely cinematic and unique JoJo’s is developed by CyberConnect2, the same team that brought you Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. It’s worth mentioning that although JoJo’s has received good reviews, there is a controversial micro-transaction system in the game that comes into effect during the campaign mode, mirroring the likes of Facebook social games. CyberConnect2 has since released two updates to balance the system in Japan, which will also be imported to the Western release. Stay tuned to PS Nation for more updates as they come in.
