Three New Persona Games Coming to PS Platforms in Japan 2014, including Persona 5

Persona5

Atlus dropped a bunch of Persona related news on Sunday with the announcement of four Persona related games, three of which are coming to PlayStation platforms in Japan in 2014.

Let’s start with the biggest news item, Persona 5. Persona 5 is hitting the PlayStation 3 in Japan in winter 2014. Sadly, there was no mention of a western release, but we did get a nice teaser trailer to build excitement.

Persona 4 Arena was a big surprise to many when it turned out to be great and because of that Atlus is ready with a follow up game entitled, Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold. The amazingly titled game is hitting Japanese arcades in 2014 and will hit the PS3 in Japan during summer 2014.

As if a fighting game in the Persona world wasn’t different enough for you, Atlus are partnering up with the developers of Hatsune Miku Project Diva to make a rhythm dancing game set in the Persona universe for the PlayStation Vita. This game will take place after the events of Persona 4. Check out the trailer and wrap your mind around Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Though like the previous two games mentioned before this has only been announced for Japan.

If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
