Telltale Games Working on a Game of Thrones Game and a Borderlands Game

The makers of such episodic games as Back to the Future, The Wolf Among Us, and The Walking Dead are now working on two more licensed properties, Game of Thrones and Borderlands.

During the VGX awards on Saturday, Telltale Games announced they are working with HBO to make an episodic game for Game of Thrones that will arrive on home consoles, PC, Mac, and mobile devices in 2014. Not much more information was shared other than a teaser trailer that shows nothing more than a title card, but at least it has the TV show’s theme song.

Also revealed during the same event was, Telltale and 2K Games partnering up for Tales from the Borderlands. This episodic game obviously take place in the Borderlands universe and is expected to hit platforms in 2014. Check out the trailer below.

There you have it, 2014 is going to be a huge year for Telltale Games now that they will be working on four episodic games in 2014. What do you think about the newly announced games?

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
