Sony reveals live streaming numbers for the PS4
Sony has revealed that since the launch of the PlayStation 4 over 20 million minutes (333,333.33 hours) has been streamed via the system.
To give even more clarification to the number, Sony went on to say that 10% of the content found on Twitch.tv since the launch of the system in the U.S. has been from the PlayStation 4. Ustream has reported an avg of 31 minutes per streamer. The three biggest games that are being streamed are; Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadow Fall and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
“PlayStation 4 is specifically designed so people can share their gaming experiences and interest in streaming live gameplay has surpassed our wildest expectations,” said Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios. “We’re very excited to see gamers embrace live streaming from their PS4 system and we look forward to seeing how PlayStation gamers advance social gaming in the coming years.”
