List of Games Coming to Vita in 2014

Vita Games

During the recent PlayStation Vita event, Sony compiled a list of notable games coming to the portable device in 2014.  Sony did state that there will be “more than 100” games coming to the PlayStation Vita in 2014. With that said here are 21 games Sony mentioned during a press release.

  • Borderlands 2
  • God of War: Collection
  • MLB 14 The Show
  • The Sly Cooper Collection
  • Invizimals: The Alliance
  • Murasaki Baby
  • FINAL FANTASY X-2 HD Remaster
  • Hohokum
  • Helldivers
  • Destiny of Spirits
  • No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!
  • BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma
  • The Walking Dead: Season Two
  • The Wolf Among Us
  • Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
  • Minecraft
  • Metrico
  • Fez
  • 1001 Spikes

Does this list make a Vita purchase tempting? Are there any notable games missing from this list or are there any games you wish were coming to the Vita? Share your thoughts and concerns in the comment section below.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.

Maybe the Sly Collection, God of War, FFX2 HD…I will reserve judgement on the rest.

  • Huseyin Unsal

Theirs way more vita games coming then this year.

    • MJC

According to Sony more than 100 games are coming to Vita, but for whatever reason this is the list of games they thought were important to point out with the announcement of the PS Vita 2000 news.

Looks good. I’ll be getting MLB, walking dead two, maybe I’ll even try out mine craft. Borderlands 2 for sure, sly collection?

  • Umar Jahangir

FFX HD collection, Blazblue Chronophantasma and Borderlands for me. Odd toukiden and demon gaze aren’t mentioned. Don’t know much about Demon Gaze but toukiden is very good.

Don’t know what was the deciding factor of mentioning some games over others in the Vita 2000 press release was, but maybe Toukiden being out already or later this week was the factor for that game not making their list.

When is Metroid Prime for Vita?

    • XtemmA2

      JK!!!! Sheesh… -_-

      • Keith Dunn

        HAHAHA!!! I WISH!

  • I just hope the frame rate is good on these. Jak series had pretty poor.

8 of these are must buys for me. It will be very interesting if all 8 actually come out in 2014. Borderlands, and Minecraft are going to be great on Vita.

  • Jahonius

I played the hell out of Borderlands 2 in PS3 AND PC. But there’s a good chance that I’ll play it again on the Vita since it’ll feature cross save and all.

Oh, and I’ll definitely buy FFX HD since I’ve never played the original.

    • Jahonius

Soul Sacrifice DELTA as well, to scratch the Monster Hunter itch…

Cross-Buy is my reason to have a Vita.

The more games that are Cross-Buy… well… Does a developer really give a crap about you if they want you to buy the game 2 or 3 times? Why couldn’t Dragon’s Crown be Cross-Buy? They did free DLC and content. I almost didn’t buy it because I didn’t want to choose between them. I waited till the game was half price.

    • Jahonius

Yeah the Dragon’s Crown not being cross buy was a HUGE turnoff for me, so I settled for Ni No Kuni, and I don’t regret that decision!
