Madden NFL 15 out on August 26th

Madden 2015 will be released on August 26th for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

This year’s game looks to focus on defense as the press release claimed it will have “the most immersive defensive gameplay control in franchise history.” In addition to that small bit of information the game will also feature a new broadcast presentation that will feature new camera angles and dynamic pre-game and halftime shows.¬†

As with tradition, EA and ESPN will once again team-up to have a fan vote to determine the cover athlete for the game and more information on that will be revealed during the NFL Draft on May 8th.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.

  • Damn straight they are focusing on defense. Despite people claiming Madden 25 is the best game ever, the game is not that great. The defense in particular is crap. They know they messed up with the defense and if you ever played the game you would notice the defense is beefed up. The defense is too fast. I have thrown balls to wide open receivers with the closest defender 5 yards away and by the time the ball arrives its intercepted (not always the case but annoying). Not to mention if a receiver catches the ball and is immediately hit within 2 steps they will never hold on to the ball. Wide open catches or nothing. The defense is a game breaking feature. Never have i ever seen a sports game so broken they need to put a giant crutch in to make it seem like the players are better than they really are.

And don’t even get me started on Madden Ultimate Team.
