Driveclub Releasing in October

At long last Driveclub has a release date set. After a couple delays and a period of silence from Sony, the PlayStation 4 racer is releasing on October 7th in North America and on October 8th in Europe.

Driveclub was originally set to be available when the PlayStation 4 launched, but Shuhei Yoshida back in October announced that the game was delayed till early 2014, but the company stayed silent till today when Shuhei Yoshida took to the PlayStation Blog to reveal the game will now come out on October 7th in North America and on October 8th in Europe.

Shuhei Yoshida said:

“We planned for the game to be ready for early 2014 and are committed to delivering on our ambitious promise of creating a truly innovative, socially connected racing game.

The problem with being ambitious is you have to be prepared to accept there will be challenges along the way. What DRIVECLUB offers has not been previously achieved in this category, and, because of this, the team needed more time to give you the game you’re waiting for.”

If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
