The Division has been delayed to 2015

Today via the game’s official blog, Ubisoft announced that The Division has been delayed until 2015.

Along with the delay announcement, the development team said, “Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready.”

They also mentioned that we will see more of The Division next month at E3.

Even with the delay, are you still interested in The Division?

So Holidays will be dead with games and the first half of 2015 will be packed? Hopefully a couple games mind slipping past the fiscal year because I hate when companies pack games before March.

I agree with the sentiment of hoping for some big releases post-march 2015. However I’m still hopeful that E3 will announce some major fall releases.

Yes I know that the trend of E3 recently has been to announce games super early. But hey a guy can hope right?

This is my most anticipated ‘next-gen’game. Disappointing delay news but I’d rather it was released when it’s ready.
