Amplitude Reboot Adds Bands and Composers

Harmoix announced yesterday some of the bands and composers they will be collaborating with on their Amplitude reboot for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

The Amplitude reboot will now feature original songs from Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World), Danny Baranowsky (Super Meat Boy), C418 (Minecraft), Kasson Crooker (FreQuencyAmplitude), Jim Guthrie (Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP), and Freezepop (FreQuency,Amplitude).

The Amplitude Kickstarter has a little more than $260,000 left to raise with only three days remaining. If funded, Amplitude will release sometime in 2015 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The game is exclusive to PlayStation because Sony owns the rights to the IP and if the game is not funded Harmonix will be forced to move on and put the game on the back burner.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
