E3 2014: What We’re Hoping To See (Keith Edition!)

Somehow, someway my contribution to this nifty little series was lost by Chazz! ( *Editor’s Note: Or he just deleted it on purpose because you’re insane :p ) I have recreated it here for your unbridled joy and edification.

KeithPersonally and apropos of nothing I have the same Pie In The Sky hopes every year when it comes to games announced at E3.

I am always looking for ways the industry might blend existing game franchises, even one-off games from previous generations, with the latest tech. Conker’s Worst Fur Day in 3D, perhaps?

So as unrealistic as it is, I’d give anything for a new Viewtiful Joe! As silly as it seems a new Sphinx game would be awesome! A derivation of Metroid Prime stolen from Nintendo for other platforms….I feel like Dead Space tried to do that but I’d rather turn a corner and be amazed by beauty than rotting corpses!

Viewtiful Joe

Enough rotting corpses in first person, thank you. Unless it’s a brilliant reboot of the Resident Evil franchise. I’d even love it if they went back to the original Resident Evil and reimagined that game for this gen.

Y’know what else was fun? Building and managing your own amusement park, thanks Sid.

Is it any wonder that my big platinum trophy to date is Okami HD? No.
But the cherry on top of this imaginary sundae would have to be a brand new, rebuilt and remade Final Fantasy VII.

I expect none of these projects to exist. But I would be the happiest man-boy alive if any of them did.
