Mortal Kombat X Announced with First Trailer

It’s official, Mortal Kombat X is real and will be out in 2015 for the PS3, PS4, PC Xbox 360, and Xbox One. This announcement comes from an epic cinematic trailer featuring Sub Zero and Scorpion.

Details on Mortal Kombat X are sparse, but according to a press release the game will feature “a new fully-connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy.  For the first time, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style.” Also mentioned in the press release is the addition of new challengers. 

Expect more information on Mortal Kombat X next week during E3.

    My favorite part about the last MK game was that fantastic and long story mode they had. I really hope they continue with that idea. Since it’s Netherrealm I have zero doubts that the fighting is going to be fantastic though.
