We received some more details on Alien: Isolation which is headed to PlayStation soon. But it isn’t all good news. So first lets get the bad news out of the way for all of us not at E3:

Alien: Isolation is preparing for this year’s E3 with a new 20 minute theatre presentation and an exciting new game mode playable on the show floor.

But we don’t get to see that, so what about us Sega. Well we haven’t been forgotten, so now the good news:

Additionally, SEGA revealed a new gameplay trailer and fresh screenshots for the game this morning.

Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror game capturing the fear and tension evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film. Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

Alien: Isolation will be available from October 7, 2014, for Xbox One, PlayStation4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation3.

From what I’ve played of the game I can happily inform you that I’m looking forward to this, they’ve done a lot to capture the atmosphere and mood of the original films. What do you think, has it got your interest, let us know in the comments below.

About the new trailer: First 30 seconds are wasted. It only starts being any good at 50. But it still looks like everything we’ve already seen. It looks interesting, but I, personally, would still rather be the xenomorph.

I like when games break a mold but looking pass that, I typically never play a game thats to dark or scary. I like that you have to think your way out of a problem and im Hally there making this game but I will never play it.

Sadly, I think if J.D. Dabbs idea about BEING the alien sounds more fun. Aka not scary. Then id play it.
