Square Enix Forming New Studio for Console RPG

It’s refreshing to see news of a publisher opening a new studio as opposed to the usual layoffs or closure news so it is nice to see Square Enix is in the process of forming a new studio.

Square Enix recently launched a recruitment site for an unannounced RPG. The game appears to be in early development since most of the job listings are for lead and director positions. According to Siliconera the team will be working on an RPG for consoles and the deadline for applications is on September 30th.

    I am glad they are working on RPG games for Consoles, (In my opinion) we need more to come out for the PS4, been dying for some awesome RPG games to come out. Especially good JRPG’s.

    Hopefully they put the effort and time to make it good, and they don’t rush it. 😛
