GTA-V-B

This morning Rockstar announced the previously leaked release date for their up-graded version of Grand Theft Auto V with a bunch of new content and upgrades coming in tow. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be able to pick up Grand Theft Auto V on November 18, 2014 while PC gamers will be able to play it on January 27, 2015.

Gamers who pre-order the new edition of Grand Theft Auto V will receive $1,000,000 in in-game currency to use in either the single-player mode or in Grand Theft Auto Online.

Besides an increase in graphic fidelity,  this new version of Grand Theft Auto V comes with these other upgrades:

  • New activities
  • New weapons
  • New vehicles
  • Additional wildlife
  • Denser traffic
  • New foliage system
  • Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more
  • 100 additional songs added to the radio stations
  • 17 new DJ radio mixes

Other new content that will be included in this new version of the game will include rare versions of classic vehicles found throughout the Grand Theft Auto series and activities including wildlife photography; and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.  The player count for Grand Theft Auto Online has been bumped up to 30 consecutive players at one time in an online world and all existing gameplayer upgrades and Rockstar-created content will come over as well.

Also, remember that if you have played Grand Theft Auto V on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, you’ll be able to import that character into any of the new versions of the game; PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC.

Stay tuned for a new trailer to be released later today!

Has there been any mention of upgrading from ps3 disc to ps4 disc?

I doubt it. Might be best just to sell your PS3 copy now while it still has some value… (Assuming you don’t have the digital version)
