The arcade looking “lite” baseball sim, Super Mega Baseball has set its release date. Arriving on December 16th on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, this Cross-Buy title hopes to bring some casual fun back to the sports gaming world.

Super Mega Baseball is a couch co-op/competitive game that allows 2-4 players to take the field with over-the-top custom characters and teams. Don’t let the look of the art fool you though because the game is advertised to have realistic gameplay with accurate physics, realistic statistical outcomes and stat tracking that drives the game of baseball.

Super Mega Baseball is coming to December 16th in North America and will sell for $19.99.
