The long in development Mad Max will finally be shown off in the the April issue of Game Informer meaning there is finally a release date for the title. Mad Max will launch on September 1st in North America with a European release date to follow on September 4th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. So it will miss its chance to launch with the movie Mad Max: Fury Road which comes out in May.

If you noticed the PS3 and Xbox 360 were not listed with the release date information and that is because those versions of the game have been cancelled by Avalanche and Warner Bros likely due to timing or limitations with those consoles.
