Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Revealed

The Assassin’s Creed franchise is switching things up this year with the announcement of the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy. These new games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be a 2.5D game with the first one taking place in China.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China will be available for $9.99 on the PlayStation 4 and features Shao Jun from the animated short Assassin’s Creed: Embers as the protagonist during the fall of the Ming Dynasty. While the other two games will take players to India and Russia and star Arbaaz Mir and Nikolaï Orelov from the graphic novels.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China will be the first game released and is set to launch on April 21st. There is no current release date for the other two games in the trilogy. These games are not meant to be a replacement for the yearly installment of Assassin’s Creed as there is still expected to be one this year.
