Additionally, the new installment into the game will be played in a first-person mode where you’ll be looking out at the crowd in front of you as you strum great songs from artists like; The Black Keys, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Gary Clark, Jr., Green Day, Ed Sheeran, The War on Drugs, The Killers, Skrillex, The Rolling Stones, The Lumineers, Pierce the Veil and Blitz Kids. The crowd will react in real time based on how well you are hitting the notes.

Amazing that the official reveal trailer is actual gameplay footage. I’m liking the idea of how they’re trying to make the game entirely fresh and new compared to what we played back in the day. GHTV also sounds pretty great.

Looking forward to see what Rock Band has in store for this gen.

On another note, I kinda feel like this leads to a VR enabled Guitar Hero in the future.
