Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China Launch Trailer

Assassin's Creed China

The first game in the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy is set to release tomorrow and that means there is a shiny new launch trailer. This standalone 2.5D sidescroller will be available for $9.99 as a standalone title and is included as part of the Assassin’s Creed: Unity season pass.

Here is a short synopsis for the story of Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China which will be available for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.

From PR:

“In 16th-century China, the recently appointed Jiajing Emperor instigated a sudden and ruthless purge of all he felt were a danger to his newly acquired throne, including the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins. A young Assassin, Shao Jun, fled to the West to complete her training under the legendary Assassin Ezio Auditore in the animated short Assassin’s Creed Embers™ and has returned, determined to restore the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins.”

It’s got Mark of Ninja/Shadow Complex vibe to it. I wish we got more of these Metroidvania style games. I’m looking forward to seeing the reviews.
