King’s Quest Developer Diary Part 4-Music With Character

Today publisher Sierra released the fourth entry in the developer The Odd Gentlemen’s video diary for King’s Quest, which is a reimagining of the classic and beloved adventure franchise. The newest entry of the diary, “Music with Character”, focuses on composer David Stanton and his score of the game and his approach to the themes and characters, which are unique to say the least. This behind the scenes look shows how soundtrack and story work together with one another.

Here are the previous three entries of the developer diary:

“The Vision”

“Voicing a Modern Classic”

“A Hand Painted Game”

The episodic game’s first chapter is anticipated to be released digitally by year’s end for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
