E3 2015: EA Sports NHL 16 coming this September


Revealed during EA’s press conference at E3 2015, the next installment into their NHL series, EA Sports NHL 16, will be hitting store shelves on September 15, 2015 in North America and on September 17, 2015 in Europe.

The new NHL 16 features a wide selection of game types, created to give any player the exact way they want to play. The ‘Be-A-Pro’ mode returns with an all new progression system that will shape your character on the ice depending on how you play. Are you more of a person who likes to control everything? Then the GM mode will give you that power. Control every aspect of your favorite NHL team from drafting to managing their AHL team, to taking your team to the Stanley Cup. If online gaming is your thing, NHL 16 boasts a bunch of various option; 6 v 6 Online Team Play, Online Couch Co-op, and the return of the fan favorite, EA Sports Hockey League.

EA Canada¬†and Vancouver have created new systems in¬†NHL 16 to perfect the game and make it more real. With the inclusion of the ‘Precision Skating’ mechanic, the ‘Seamless Puck Pickups’ mechanic, the ‘On-Ice Visual Training’ and ‘Coach Feedback’ mechanics; every player will be able to perfect their skills to become a better hockey player.

EA Sports NHL 16 will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
