Golden Minecart Awards 2015: Vote Here!

Voting is now open for your 2015 Golden Minecart Awards.

These are your awards. YOU decide, so get your votes in and make your voice heard!

The entire staff of PS Nation worked hard over the past few weeks to present you with a list of five (sometimes six) nominees in each category.

As always, if your game hasn’t been nominated there‚Äôs a write-in opportunity for every category. These are your awards after all. Don’t think of a write-in vote as a throw away. The past few years have shown that write-in votes can make a difference and several have come in well ahead of the official nominees. It’s only a matter of time before a write-in takes the top spot.

Voting can be done twice per day (once every 12 hours) same as last year, so vote as often as you can to make your voice heard.

The polls will close on Tuesday, January 19th at 11pm Eastern and the results will be announced on Episode 460 of the Podcast. So what are you waiting for? Start voting now!

Yay, Golden Minecarts! Only problem is that Axiom Verge hasn’t been released yet for the Vita.

    • Yup, clearly we all missed that. Sorry, it’s been fixed now.

Until Dawn, Just Cause 3, WRC 5, Rocket League, Tearaway Unfolded, Mad Max, Flame Over, Geometry Wars 3, and so many more; there is no denying this has been a great year for gaming.

  • Whoop whoop, thanks for all the hard work PS Nation team, can’t wait to hear the results!

Ironically, the two GOTY for me are Bloodborne and The Witcher 3, both are RPGs… damnit!

Sadly, I played zero PS3 games last year, so I didn’t vote.

Any reason why Witcher 3 didn’t make the cut for 2015 Game of the Year?

    • Witcher 3, Batman, and Life is Strange all missed the cut by 1 vote. I had already expanded it to the top 6, going to the top 9 isn’t really a good idea. We had 10 for GOTY in 2012 and the winner only pulled in 26% of the vote. It splits the vote too much.

I’ve been urging everyone who wants Witcher 3 (or anything else) to write it in. We can make this the year that a write-in wins

I see a strong write in Campaign coming.

Let’s give Life is Strange a final push in all the major categories!

I think Until Dawn should be the GOTY winner, such a solid and frightfully fun experience that both myself and the wife will never forget.
