Trouble Abounds For Some Star Crossed Lovers


Coming February 9 from Asteroid Base to your PlayStation 4, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime looks to capture your hearts and create chaos while battling alien robots.

Lovers is a space-based, couch co-op, action shooter sure to please fans of this genre. Looking to battle the evil alien forces of “Anti-Love”, players can tackle the missions solo with the help of an AI cat or dog or look to partner up for some real-life assistance. Having launched previously on PC and other consoles, PS4 owners will finally get their chance at finding some love in space, or at least saving some cute and fuzzy bunnies.

Toronto – January 21, 2016 – Love is in the air now that independent video game developer Asteroid Base is bringing its 1-2 player, couch co-op action game Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system on February 9. Releasing just in time for Valentine’s Day for $14.99, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime features frenzied action that forces friends, family members and loved ones to work together while switching back-and-forth between manning the spacecraft’s controls, weapons and defenses against dastardly alien robots. Those looking to take on Lovers’ perilous campaigns solo can do so with a trusty AI space dog or cat by their side to aid in efforts.

Set in a colorful universe, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime offers players an array of weapons with which to battle enemies while avoiding galactic forces of nature and rescuing kidnapped space bunnies, frogs and other charming creatures from the evil forces of Anti-Love. Players shouldn’t be fooled by the cute aesthetic, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime features challenging gameplay that will test gamers of all skill levels, including new difficulty modes Beginner and Veteran.
