Hitman GO: Definitive Edition – Out Now

The lovely folks at Square Enix Montréal has just released Hitman GO: Definitive Edition. While you wait for the review from Josh why not check out the cool Handcrafted Edition video below.

Square Enix Montréal announced today that the revisited iteration of the studio’s critically acclaimed turn-based puzzle/strategy game, Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is now available for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the PlayStation®Vita system and Steam. Players can now purchase the title as a cross-buy digital download from the PlayStation Store or from the Steam marketplace. In celebration of the multiplatform release, Hitman GO: Definitive Edition ($7.99 regular price) is launched with a 20% discount for the first week only.

CROSS-BUY NOTE:
In the European territories, Hitman GO will be Cross-Buy from the 2nd of March. If you already purchased the game for either system you will receive the Cross-Buy entitlement from the 2nd.

The definitive edition has been updated with a new control scheme optimized for the console and PC experiences, along with new platinum trophies, Steam achievements for PC and a Cross-Save feature that allows users to seamlessly transfer save files between systems for PlayStation platforms. The game includes all precedent content updates (Opera, Airport and St. Petersburg boxes) and all in-app purchases have been removed.

    Just picked this up tonight and it looks and plays great on the PS4. One question though, what do you mean by the Cross-Buy will be activated in March? I bought for PS4 and received the Vita version as well.

    • That’s most likely Europe. It works fine in North America as far as I know but we had someone tweet us from Europe that Cross-Buy wasn’t working.
