Final Fantasy XV Release Date, Movie and Anime News

FF XV

Square Enix held a special event in Los Angeles called Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV which revealed a lot of news about the upcoming game plus a bunch of other related products.

The most important bit of news from the event is the release date for the long in development Final Fantasy XV which is set for a September 30th worldwide launch. It would not be a Final Fantasy new post without a stylish new trailer so enjoy this and get ready for a couple more.

There is also a new demo that is available now on the PS4 and Xbox One and will feature a unique story line that will not be seen in the game. Here is the official trailer for the demo and a link to it on the PlayStation Store.

In addition to video game news Square Enix announced a new CG movie being produced in partnership with Sony Pictures that will release digitally sometime before the game. Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV will star Sean Bean and Lena Headey of Game of Thrones fame and Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul.

And for the anime fans there will be Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV and the first episode of the five episode series is available now. All five episodes are promised to release before the launch of the game. You can check out the first episode below.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.

I was somewhat uneasy on how this game would turnout, but the amount of effort Square is putting behind it is making me think it might turn out well.

Well ya can’t help but he scared after they said the remake of ff-xii was gonna be episodic. But I’m hoping that this game is as good as it looks since it’s been in development for years now.
