New Character Iggy & Scorch Joins Paragon Roster April 21

Epic Games is shaking up their third-person, over-the-shoulder, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), Paragon with the addition of a new mage character(s) Iggy & Scorch, coming to the game, currently in early access, on Thursday, April 21st.

No offense to the four legged audience, but Scorch appears to be the mount, whereas Iggy is the rider with the ability to throw molotovs and set flame turrets to zone out enemies. Not being an everyday riding beast, Scorch helps out by secreting flammable oils that allow it(?) to blow fire, increase fire damage over time, or widen a molotov’s damage area. Should be good for lane control.

Here, see the duo in action below.

Epic will be hosting a Twitch stream on April 18th at 11:00am EDT with a more in-depth look at Iggy & Scorch here.

Paragon is currently in paid early access, with a free open beta arriving some time this summmer on PS4 and PC.

Anyone else playing Paragon right now? What do you think so far?

A student of games, I play a bit of everything because I like to see what’s out there. Nothing better than first hand experience when it comes to knowing about games. Current game obsession: Anything MOBA (Paragon, Battleborn, Heroes of the Storm), except, ironically, the most popular ones, LoL and DOTA2.
