The year is 2029 and the world has turned against augmented humans. Cybernetically enhanced Adam Jensen, returning protagonist from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, must navigate a world that hates his kind, filled with violence, conspiracies, and invisible hands working in the shadows.

How he does that, is up to you.

The recently released Deus Ex: Mankind Divided “101 Trailer” gives a great overview of what we can expect from the new game when it releases August 23, including the oft mentioned mechanical apartheid setting the stage; new abilities, explained in fiction as augs Jensen has always had, he just didn’t know about them; and the series specialty: different play styles leading to different outcomes.
