Kick & Fennick & PS4 in June

Hey, what about a PS Vita to PS4 remaster?

Kick & Fennick comes to PS4 and Wii U on June 2nd, with an XBOX One release on June 3rd. Developed by Abstraction Games and Jaywalkers Interactive, the game stars Kick, a young boy wielding a large gun that’s useful for both combat and traversal (think rocket jump) through the colorful platformer adventure he finds himself waking up in at the start.

Early on, Kick meets Fennick, a helpful flying, robotic companion who needs a new battery, setting the destination for the titular duo’s journey through “45 levels of collapsed skyscrapers, treadmills, bouncypads, magnets, teleporters and that big guard robot who’s never far behind!”

Kick & Fennick was originally released on PS Vita in February 2015 as a PlayStation Plus free game. That version just recently received a patch which among other things added in PlayStation TV support.

The new version for PS4 features some of the usual things you’d expect like 1080p60 and improved graphics and animations. On top of that, the developers have gone back and tweaked the levels to make the experience a bit smoother, and they have adapted the controls and menus to the new platforms Kick & Fennick is set to land on.

No cross-buy or new Trophies will be added to this release.

Gonna give it a second go? Let us know in the comments.

A student of games, I play a bit of everything because I like to see what’s out there. Nothing better than first hand experience when it comes to knowing about games. Current game obsession: Anything MOBA (Paragon, Battleborn, Heroes of the Storm), except, ironically, the most popular ones, LoL and DOTA2.
