3D PlayStation 4 Games

Did you know the PlayStation 4 is 3D compatible? Your HDTV might be as well. Aside from watching the many 3D movies available, there are also some games that you can play using those cool glasses. Sadly most developers do not take advantage of this feature that can really add to the enjoyment of many games if implemented properly.

Below is a list of every 3D enabled PlayStation 4 game available, and if we have it, a review for the game as well. Let us know if we missed any and we will update the list and endeavor to add a review for it too. We also compiled a local co-op list of PS4 games.

Review: Bound (PS4/PSVR)

Why not experience a different kind of game?

Review: CastleStorm: Definitive Edition (PS4)

Zen Studios brings the Definitive Edition of their uniquely charming CastleStorm game to the PlayStation 4 with added bells and whistles.

Review: Daylight (PS4)

A cell phone, some glow sticks and some flares are all that stand between you and the darkness. Maybe you should just throw them all away.

Review: KickBeat: Special Edition (PS4)

Perhaps it’s due to the improved visuals, perhaps it’s due to the PS4 edition being streamlined and therefore not trying to do anything it doesn’t do perfectly. Whatever the case, this Special Edition is better than its predecessors.

We evolve. Shed your skin and cross the line like nothing matters… We evolve. Change your course like the savior. Walk on water…

Review: Zombie Army Trilogy (PS4)

The crazy offshoot of the Sniper Elite series “Zombie Army Trilogy” shuffles its way to the PS4.

Just to let you know, many sites mistakenly report Fez and Mekazoo to be 3D compatible on the PS4, I checked and they are not.

Do you play any games in 3D? Do you want more games to be 3D compatible? Let us know in the forums.

Wow. That’s it for 3D games on the PS4? I really wish there were more seeing how my new t.v.has 3D… Guess I’m just late to the party.

There are loads of 3D PS3 games and don’t forget the movies too. Some more 3D games are on the horizon and will be added to the list when they are released.

Yeah poor timing indeed… You just dropped 1200$(USD), on a fancy 1080p Samsung LCD, and a few years latter 3D, and Smart TVs show up. And of course they were still very much expensive back then. So now that the time comes and I actually want a new TV w/4k & 3D, I find that my options are… We’re very limited indeed. So I guess since 3D sold soo well back then, it must there fore be for the best to just drop it all entirely, instead of actually just accepting it as one does with Smart TVs. Now that I have a 3D TV, I have to say I love it. I could only wish it were better supported then it is at the moment.

    • I don’t think the support is all that bad. I have 114 3D Blu-rays at the moment and a huge wishlist. Plenty of studios are still doing 3D too so the content is still coming.

I was seriously disappointed to find out that Mekazoo is in fact not 3D compatible. It’s not just another site that says it is 3D compatible, it’s Playstation’s own website! https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/mekazoo-ps4/ “3D Display with compatible 3D glasses (sold separately) required for 3D features.” If that isn’t false advertising, I don’t know what is.
